Independence Day, observed annually on 15 August, is a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from British rule on 15 August 1947.

Teachers day is celebrated around the world on different dates. World Teachers' Day aim is to mobilise support for teachers as well as appreciating Teachers.

As per traditions, on this day the sister prepares the Puja Thali with a Diya, Rice, Roli and Rakhis. She worships the Gods, ties Rakhi to her brother and prays for his well-being. In return the brother accepts the love with a promise to protect her sister and gives her a gift. Traditionally, they then share and eat sweets like Kaju Katli, Jalebi, and Burfi. This festival strengthens the bond of love between the sisters and brothers.

School life becomes monotonous if there wont be any fun. The annual day function has become one of the compulsory functions for almost all the institute. It gives all the students of the school to exhibit talents in different ways.

DahiHandi is the festival of Maharashtra and Goa, also known as Govinda sport. Dahihandi is celebrated the next day after Sri Krishna Jayanti.

A Fancy Dress Competition for Primary section was organized at the School Auditorium. Children from KG1 to Class IV participated in the program. Some of the personas in which the children were dressed included a commando, joker, doctor, fairy, Elephant, lion, politician, and many more.

Chacha Nehru as the children fondly referred to him, was fond of both children and roses. In fact he often compared the two, saying that children were like the buds in a garden.
